Instructors train referees at all levels, conducting courses and clinics in support of referee certification and re-certification requirements. If you are interested in becoming an Instructor, please see the requirements below.
Requirements for Instructors
- Minimum Age
- 25
- Grade
- Must have been a Grade 7 or or above for at least 2 years.
- Referee Experience
- Refereed adult and competitive youth games; been active in PA West or another State Association.
- Recommendation
- Must be approved by the SDI.
- Testing
- Must pass the state exam with score of 80.
- Training
- Must pass the instructor course.
- Clearances
- Must have all PA required clearances.
