To join the mentoring group, it must come from a recommendation to/from the SRA and must be approved by the State Referee Committee. Ask your local assignor to put in a good recommendation for you.
The do activities from on field training, classroom settings, indoor training and video analysis. They learn from each other when it comes to game situations, positioning and other officiating matters. You need to work with different assignors and mentors who can nominate you to the next level mentor/assignor and attend tournaments that those people attend. You should also attend events such as the Open as it a high volume place where we get to put eyes on a lot of people all at once.
